Lisetski Field
Lisetski Field is named in honor of Coach Mike Lisetski, a legendary figure in Lehigh Valley sports. An eight-time Lehigh Valley League Champion and three-time District XI Champion, Coach Lisetski graduated from Northampton Area High School in 1931 before attending Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA.
After college, he returned to Northampton as a social studies teacher and coached both baseball and football under Coach Al Erdosy. In addition to his coaching career, Lisetski officiated basketball and football in the Lehigh Valley for 26 years before moving on to officiate in the NFL for 18 seasons. Notably, he was part of the officiating crew for the first Super Bowl between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Green Bay Packers.
His contributions to sports were recognized through multiple Hall of Fame inductions, including the Lehigh Valley Basketball Hall of Fame, the Muhlenberg College Hall of Fame, the Lehigh Valley Football Hall of Fame, and the Northampton High School Athletic Hall of Fame.
Coach Mike Lisetski passed away on September 28, 2005, leaving behind a lasting legacy in Northampton baseball and the Northampton community as a whole.
